Recipe: Summertime Dessert: Strawberry Yogurt Tart in 15 Minutes

Strawberry Yogurt Tart Pie

Strawberry Yogurt Tart NutritionI realize this is an out-of-the-ordinary post for me. But I love, love, love whipping up this summertime treat, when I need something easy and in a hurry, therefore I thought you might like to too.

Nutrition Facts are based on a single serving, opting to use reduced-fat and light ingredients. I’ve made this several times with “light” ingredients, which scale back some of the sugars, fat, carbs, but have never made it with “diet” (which cuts out ALL of the fun stuff). All the same flavor, without all the guilt.

Serves: 6
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 Keebler Ready Crust Graham Cracker Pie Crust (reduced fat ok, single-serve crusts ok)
  • 1 Keebler Ready Crust Graham Cracker Pie Crust (reduced fat ok, single-serve crusts ok)
  • 2 Cups Frozen Whipped Topping, Thawed (light ok)
  • 8 oz. Strawberry Yogurt (light ok)
  • Optional: Red food coloring

Directions:

  1. Wash the strawberries, remove the bad spots and stems. Use an egg slicer to evenly slice the strawberries. Refrigerate until needed.
  2. In a small bowl, blend the yogurt, whipped topping, and an optional 2-3 drops of red food coloring.
  3. Spoon the mixture into the pie crust.
  4. Garnish the edges, center, or make-your-own-design with your sliced strawberries.
  5. Chill until ready to serve (about an hour or until firm).
